[Premium Experience] May 10th and 11th / Why not try carrying a mikoshi (portable shrine) at the Shitaya Shrine Festival!

体験

The Shimotsuya Shrine Grand Festival, the earliest summer festival in the downtown area, has a history of more than 1,000 years.
Many stalls line the streets around the shrine, adding to the excitement of the festival. The highlight of the festival is the dynamic "mikoshi" performed by the vigorous carriers of the portable shrines.

Thanks to the cooperation of the local Kurumazaka Town Council, guests of NOHGA HOTEL UENO TOKYO can join as mikoshi carriers! (limited to first 10 guests only)

Why not take the opportunity to put on a NOHGA HOTEL happi coat and have a priceless, first-hand experience carrying a mikoshi in a traditional Japanese festival?
