There is also a plan with an airline ticket.
Join us for a natural dyeing workshop in collaboration with Maito Design Works, a brand devoted to "time-honored craftsmanship that is kind to both nature and people."
Using the grounds of Kabuki Coffee brewed at Bistro NOHGA, you will dye your very own one-of-a-kind hair dryer bag or T-shirt. As you enjoy the soft, warm hues that only coffee can create, you will also discover the appeal of upcycling, giving new life to resources that would otherwise go to waste.
Every pattern and shade depends on how the fabric is dyed, so no two pieces are alike. Your finished work will be a truly special creation entirely your own.
Why not surround yourself with the aroma of Kabuki Coffee and discover the joy of making something by hand?

Maito Design Works Co., Ltd.
A natural dyeing factory brand based in Kuramae, Tokyo, creating a wide range of items under the theme of "craftsmanship that is kind to people and nature."
Japan is home to many wonderful makers: dyers, spinners, finishers, knitters, weavers, sewers, and more. The Japanese textile industry, known as itohen after the "thread" radical found in the kanji for many textile-related words, has long been built on a division of labor in which each trade supports the others.
Today, however, the number of makers is gradually declining, and traditional Japanese techniques refined over generations are at risk of being lost.
At Maito Design Works, we embrace these techniques and take on a variety of challenges to transform them into products for today.
We refine our natural dyeing through trial and error in our own studio and actively introduce new flat knitting techniques at our own factory, while planning and producing our products with the help of makers across Japan.
We hope that everyone involved in the making of things can be happy.
It is with this wish in our hearts that we devote ourselves to our craft every day.

KABUKI
Opened in November 2016, Kabuki is a coffee and chocolate shop in Kuramae, complete with its own coffee roastery and chocolate workshop. At the second-floor café, guests can enjoy pairings of coffee and chocolate, and coffee beans and chocolate are also available for purchase.
Blending quietly into the residential neighborhood, the shop has no large sign to mark it, only a small nameplate bearing the name "蕪木" (Kabuki). In pursuit of coffee and chocolate that embody a distinctly Japanese sensibility, owner Yusuke Kabuki has created a refined space that brings to life his vision of "a place where you can quietly reflect over a cup of coffee."
