GuitarHirofumi Asaba
Hirofumi Asaba was born in Kawagoe, Saitama, Japan. He discovered the guitar at the age of 14, and at 20 began traveling the world with his guitar, refining his skills through sessions with musicians in various countries.
After returning to Japan, he studied under renowned Japanese jazz guitarist Yoshiaki Okayasu.
Since releasing his first album in 2015, he has released three CD albums and five Bandcamp-exclusive online albums.
In addition to performing at the prestigious COTTON CLUB in Marunouchi, Tokyo, he has appeared with his own band at jazz festivals in the United States, China, South Korea, and Taiwan, steadily building an international reputation.
He has also collaborated with fashion and lifestyle brands such as Ralph Lauren , J.M. Weston , and Hakusan Megane .
His original music was featured in the promotional video "A Stool for Guitarists," a collaboration between Fritz Hansen  and Fragment Design  by Hiroshi Fujiwara.
He currently has over 26,000 followers on Instagram and more than 30,000 subscribers on YouTube, earning support from fans worldwide.
With deep admiration for Barney Kessel, he continues pursuing the traditional art of jazz guitar while aiming to become one of the world's leading guitarists. 

TenorsaxSopranosaxMakoto Ueno
Born in Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima Prefecture, he studied under Seiichi Nakamura and Shigeru Ukon.
Building on the traditions of classic jazz, he has developed his own distinctive "mood tenor" style, with a strong emphasis on sound and tone, through numerous encounters and collaborations with a wide range of musicians.
He is currently a member of Gentle Forest Jazz Band, Jive at FIVE, and Subtone no Kai. In addition, he remains active across many fields, supporting various artists and contributing to films, stage productions, commercials, and music production.

BassNobuyuki Yano
Born in Ashikaga, Tochigi Prefecture, he studied under Osamu Kawakami.
He has performed as a member of Itajiyama Denbei Shokai, Tomio Morota Sextet, Taku Shimoda Kansas City Band, and Hiroshi Murata & THE BOP BAND, establishing himself as an active presence on the Japanese jazz scene.

VocalYuka Deguchi
Born in Tokyo in 1988, she entered the Jazz Vocal Program at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music in 2006, where she studied under Yasuko Hirata and Dana Hanchard. While still a student, she began performing professionally and received the Encouragement Award at the inaugural Saitama Jazz Vocal Contest in 2006. She graduated at the top of her class from Senzoku Gakuen College of Music in March 2010.
In September 2011, she released her debut mini-album, Look in My Days, on the college's SGworks label. Her first full-length album, Just from Now, produced by veteran jazz drummer Masayuki Kume, followed in June 2014 and was met with critical acclaim.
In 2016, she formed the jazz vocal duo Chai-Chee Sisters with vocalist Sari, releasing the album Girl Talk, produced by acclaimed jazz vocalist akiko.
Since 2018, she has been a member of Gentle Forest Sisters, the vocal group of the entertainment big band Gentle Forest Jazz Band, which made its major-label debut with Warner Music Japan. As part of the group, she has performed in stage productions, recorded commercial music, and released five albums while maintaining an active career in both live performance and studio recording.
In 2020, she released the debut mini-album of her own band, JIVE at FIVE.
Centered around accessible Swing and Jive repertoire, the group has gained attention for its vibrant performances, the individuality of its members, and its stylish stage presentation inspired by the golden era of the music.
