Vocal, Drums : Rena Toshimitsu
Rena Toshimitsu is a Tokyo-based vocalist and drummer originally from Saitama, Japan. Influenced by her mother, a soprano singer, she developed an early interest in music.
After graduating from the music program at Saitama Prefectural Omiya Koryo High School, she completed her studies in the Jazz Course at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, graduating top of her class and being selected as a distinguished graduate for her final research project. She studied jazz drums under Masahiko Osaka.
She has performed with numerous artists, including tenor saxophonist Seiichi Nakamura and pianist Tsuyoshi Yamamoto. In 2025, she joined tours in Shanghai and Beijing, and later participated in the Japan tour of Australian bassist and vocalist Nicki Parrott, further expanding her presence both in Japan and internationally.
Following her solo concert in 2022, she began focusing more seriously on her work as a vocalist. In recent years, her unique performance style--singing while playing the snare drum--has drawn increasing attention. She continues to explore a musical expression that bridges the perspectives of both drummer and vocalist.
In addition to her active performance schedule at jazz clubs across the Kanto area, she also works as a jazz drum instructor at bf Jazz School.

Alto Sax :
Nami Kano
Nami Kano began studying classical piano at the age of four and jazz alto saxophone at the age of nine. She graduated at the top of her class from the Jazz and Popular Music Program at Nagoya College of Music.
In 2016, she performed at the renowned New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival as a member of trumpeter Aya Takazawa's band.
Currently, she performs throughout Japan with her own ensemble, Nami Kano Group, as well as in the duo project Jabuticaba with pianist Mikiko Nagatake.
In February 2021, Jabuticaba released its debut album, Jabuticaba. Later that year, she provided the alto saxophone performance for the character Luka in Belle, directed by Mamoru Hosoda.
In March 2024, she released her first album as a bandleader, mawsim, further establishing herself as one of the notable voices in Japan's contemporary jazz scene.

Guitar
: Hiroyoshi Horie
Winner of the 2017 Gibson Jazz Guitar Contest, Hiroyoshi Horie is an acclaimed guitarist, composer, and arranger based in Japan. He performs with various ensembles including his own trio, Mokomoko, Nejimon, the Junichi Yanagi Duo, Pochotto, and Offhand.
To date, he has released four albums as a bandleader. In addition to live performance, he is active in recording for NHK radio programs, musical theater productions, and commercial music projects.
As a composer and arranger, Horie has also contributed original works to the background music streaming service H2music.ch. His artistic activities extend into interdisciplinary projects, including performances inspired by literary works such as Maihime by Mori Ogai.

Vocal,Trombone:Yuu Uesugi
Yuu Uesugi began playing the trombone at the age of nine. At sixteen, she studied abroad at an Australian public high school as an exchange student. After graduating from Aoyama Gakuin University, she spent time in Brazil and New York before returning to Japan to begin her professional performing career.She studied jazz trombone with Steve Davis and Shigeharu Mukai, and vocal performance with Wilma de Oliveira, Gloria Terra, and Miho Kosai.
In 2014, she released Melba's Mood, the debut album of the two-trombone quintet The Bon Bones, co-led with Itsumi Komano, through Somethin' Cool Records. Since then, the group has released three albums.
Invited by Swiss trombonist Danilo Moccia, she toured Europe in 2016, 2020, and 2023, earning enthusiastic acclaim from audiences.
In January 2026, she released LALA, the debut album of her own Yuu Uesugi Brazilian Jazz Quartet, through Yutori Records.
Throughout her career, she has performed with a wide range of renowned Japanese and international artists, including Lisa Ono. Today, she remains active across live performances, concerts, and recording projects.

Guitar:Akira Sekine
He began studying classical piano in early childhood and took up the guitar at the age of twelve. After entering university, he discovered jazz and began his professional performing career while participating in the university jazz society.He studied classical guitar under Manabu Inoue and flamenco guitar under Masashi Yamazaki.
In the summer of 2009, he joined clarinetist and saxophonist Anat Cohen on her Japan tour. In 2012, he lived in Spain, where he further studied flamenco guitar with Manuel Parrilla and Ramón Amador.
A rare and versatile guitarist, he is known for seamlessly covering a wide range of musical styles while maintaining jazz at the core of his artistry. To date, he has released five albums as a bandleader.
Since 2023, he has served as a lecturer in the Jazz / Pop & Rock Music Course at Showa University of Music.

Bass:Paul Dwyer
Born in 1977, British bassist Paul Dwyer started out playing double bass in London in the 90s. He has lived in Japan since 2002 and played acoustic or electric bass in various jazz, Brazilian and funk settings. As well as being a sideman to many local artists, he leads his own ensembles in Tokyo.
