"Breathing New Life Into Tradition" Mug Collection Project: 10 Original Guest Room Mugs

As part of an initiative to showcase the contemporary character of Kyo-yaki ceramics, Nohga Hotel Kiyomizu Kyoto commissioned nine ceramic artists and one pottery studio active in the local community to create original mugs under the theme "Breathing New Life Into Tradition." The completed works were placed in guest rooms starting July 1, 2026.
