Notice Regarding Kyoto City Accommodation Tax (Effective March 1, 2026)

We would like to inform you that Kyoto City will revise the accommodation tax starting March 1, 2026 as outlined below.

Please note that the tax rate is determined based on the actual date of stay.
Therefore, even if a reservation was made before the official announcement of the revision (October 3, 2025), the revised tax rate will apply to stays on or after March 1, 2026.

The accommodation fee refers to the room rate and any applicable service charges, and does not include meal charges or other additional fees.
