ITO PILGRIMS by LOVE it ONCE MORE

2025/7/12 - 7/27
Exhibition: ITO PILGRIMS
A Journey Through Threads and Quiet Prayers

【Statement】
LOVE it ONCE MORE transforms NOHGA HOTEL KIYOMIZU KYOTO with gentle installations of thread and prayer.
Start your journey at the front desk, where you'll receive a Pilgrim's Notebook. As you explore each space, you'll follow threads that guide you inward.
Each of us carries a thread--it unravels, ties, and goes on. A quiet journey to soften and reconnect.
May this journey offer a moment to gently see the beautiful pattern your thread has woven.

Maro Kuratani
A Japanese upcycle designer specializing in sustainable fashion, particularly knitwear. After graduating from Osaka Bunka Fashion College, Kuratani worked as a knitwear designer for an apparel company. However, questioning the industry's reliance on mass production and mass disposal, she decided to go independent. In 2019, she launched her own brand, LOVE it ONCE MORE, creating and selling items made from discarded yarn and secondhand clothing. In November 2024, she established Kuratani Design Office Inc. to further expand her brand's activities.
